The Ultimate Spider-Man Post!

December 12, 2012 · 8 Comments · Uncategorized

Hey true believers! For those of you who may not know, I am a huge fan of Spider-Man. I’ve been a fan of the web head since I was a little kid, but my borderline obsession has grown over the years! My friends have come to accept it about me, to the point where most of my birthday and Christmas gifts from people are Spider-Man things. I decided I would take pictures of some of my collection to show you all!

The posters in my bedroom.

Walkie talkies, lunch pails, a clock, action figures, a piggy bank, buttons, Monopoly, cereal boxes, books, Blu Rays and DVDs, playing cards, inflatable dudes, the works!

A shirt for every day of the week! (I’m wearing the seventh). My wallet, lanyard, and iPod are all Spider-Man themed too.

My pillow.

Cups and mugs for every day hydration!

I even had a fish once that was Spider-Man colors! I have more little odds and ends that are Spider-Man themed, as well as my comic book collection, but it’s just hard to get a picture of everything!

This is a glimpse at who I am (a major comic book nerd), I hope you enjoyed it!

MY GOODNESS! You, my friend, are a true fan! I’ve seen girls go through that whole “Hello Kitty” phase and I’ve had a guyfriend make me watch spiderman episodes and explain to me the different versions and etc. so I thought he was a fan but THIS is dedication! P.S. it’s nothing wrong with being a comic book nerd. =D

I feel like I could have a good conversation with that guy! haha. Yeah, I’ve been an avid fan for a few years now, so the collection keeps growing. I agree wholeheartedly, there’s nothing wrong with being a nerd in general!

That is just amazing. That is just a ton of stuff. And what some may call the ultimate collection. Although I’d say most collections are never complete, they keep growing.

@Carrie Yeah! I could always use more Spider-Man stuff! I still just pick up random little odds and ends to add to it every once in a while. The mugs I have were purchased only a couple days ago.

This is super awesome! I love Spider Man too! Just not as much as Batman, I’m glad you still hold onto something you loved as a child, it’s awesome :)

@Alexia Batman is great too! Spider-Man and Batman were my thing when I was a kid! I love keeping a bit of my childhood alive. :)

What did you think of Amazing 700 and Superior #1?

  • anthonymsilva

@Frank Oh man, it’s awesome to hear from a fellow comic reader (assuming you read the new issues). I thought #700 was…alright. It wasn’t all it could have been, and it seemed a little hackneyed to me, like they just wanted to pull this controversial stunt, but hadn’t really thought it through. It had some good ideas and moments though. I actually enjoyed Superior more than I thought I would! It was a bit creepy and strange at times, but the concept and ending impressed me!
