Hey, blog perusers! I hope everyone is doing well! Here’s a little update on what’s been going on in my life.
First off, my schedule this semester is a little different from the one I listed in a previous post. I’ve wanted to take an Existentialism class ever since I started school as CSU Stanislaus, and I’ve never gotten the chance. Until now! My friend had a debacle with his tuition payment and had all of his classes dropped. While that was incredibly unfortunate, he was able to snatch up a couple new classes. One of those classes was Existentialism, and he immediately began to rave about how interesting the class was. After a long weekend of thought I decided I had to be in that class. I pulled the ol’ switcheroo and was able to drop my Group Communications class and switch into Existentialism. For those who aren’t sure, Existentialism is a kind of philosophy that involves self-consciousness and subjective thought. It’s a great class so far, and very interesting!
I’ve never taken a full week of classes during my time at CSU Stanislaus, so this is a new experience for me. On top of classes I’ve been going to work in the Game Room on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Game Room is a great place, and everyone there has been very accepting of me. It’s a great job, it really is. We have some tournaments coming up, if anyone is interested. We have a Madden tournament this month on the 13th. On the 28th we have a Super Smash Bros. Brawl Tournament, and on the 12th of next month I’m running a Black Ops 2 tournament! Sign-ups are only five dollars, and there’s food, so come on over if you’re interested!

In other news, I auditioned for Macbeth the other day. I haven’t done an audition since high school, and I just wanted the experience of doing it again. It was a very nerve wracking experience, but a good one. I memorized a monologue from Julius Caesar and performed it for the director. Unfortunately I didn’t get a part this time, but I wasn’t upset! I got to meet a lot of the great people in the theater department, and the experience was worth it!
Well, I’ve been a busy man, but I still enjoy coming here to update you all! I hope to hear great things about all of your lives soon!

Wow, I took Sociology Classical Theory last semester and I rather enjoyed Nietzsche so I’m completely jealous of your Existentialism course. This semester I didn’t have time/space to put it in my schedule but it fits for our GE upper division requirement F2 so not only is it a course I’d enjoy but it’ll also cover GE. Also, good luck next time for auditioning but I’m glad you enjoyed the experience and went forth and tried out and a dual congratulations on your new job.
Thanks for sharing and have a great semester!=)
@Elita Aw, well hopefully you can get into the class in the future! You’ll already have a bit of info under your belt, so that’ll be a plus! Thanks for all of the congratulations and good wishes, I hope your semester is absolutely amazing.
Wait, that was YOU! I was like “that guy looks familiar but I do not have any idea where from and cannot say hi in case I do not actually know him.”
Mystery. Solved.
Haha, I totally remember you! I always wonder if any of the bloggers will recognize me on campus, since there’s just a little picture of me here. How did that night go for you?
